A hop, skip or a jump

Getting to Lake Iseo is easy. The nearest airport is 40min away, there is a train station in the centre of town and buses connect to nearby cities and the mountain ski stations.

Linate is Milan's city airport. Many of Europe's main carriers have daily flights. To reach Iseo you will need to take a shuttle bus to Milan's Central train station and then get on a train to Brescia (see section on trains below). The following site has information about parking, travel and getting to and from the airport: www.raileurope.com

Milan Bergamo (Orio al Serio) services the low cost airlines. It is only 40min drive from Iseo and cars can be hired from the airport. There are public transport links to Bergamo and Milan. See www.sacbo.it for more details.

Verona is the same distance from Iseo as Linate, Verona airport services many charter flights. More information can be found on their site: www.aeroportoverona.it

The small Treno del Nord leaves Brescia hourly and travels the entire length of Iseo's eastern shore and up to Edolo in Val Camonica. See the 2016-2017 timetable from Edolo to Brescia to Edolo.

The public bus system works but it is not easy to find a timetable. If you plan on using the buses check in at one of the main bus stations to be sure to get an up-to-date timetable.

Cars can be hired from any of the airports and are by far the most convenient way to get around the area - even if they do cost more.
